Zombies Infect Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2's Campaign

Online retailer Amazon let slip an intriguing piece of intel regarding Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's campaign. The tidbit has since been removed by the retailer, but Kotaku captured the below image before that could happen:
What you see there, aside from all the "hey credit us for our image!" stuff emblazoned around it, is promise of "zombies in gameplay, both in as an option in multiplayer, and as a campaign option." Zombies as a campaign option, huh? Very intriguing indeed.
Activision hasn't exactly been tight-lipped regarding the return of the cult favorite Zombies mode from Treyarch games past, starting with a tease for the Nuketown Zombies map and even culminating in an exclusive PS3 zombies theme in the special editions of the game. What form this campaign content might take remains a mystery, though. The closest we've ever got to story was a bit of light exposition in Black Ops' Escalation DLC.
Thanks again to Kotaku for the story and the image.
