We Need a Map 45 Shimmersand Minkabe Ziyad wants you to acquire a map from the smugglers at Hullbreach Shoals marking the location of their buried cargo. Hullbreach Shoals is located northwest of Fortune's Shore. The Khaliti people have long dwelled in these deserts, but only recently have we been pushed to the edges of society. Now thieves and brigands plunder our homeland for riches. Some of them have wrecked on the Shoals to the north - I bet one has a map to where they buried their loot. This is exactly what we need, [%NAME]. Strange, it appears they plan on shipping our heritage across Telara! We must have our property returned. Have you found the map? Bring the Smuggler's Map to Minkabe Ziyad at Khaliti Row True Minkabe Ziyad Minkabe Ziyad Never 2599 4500
The Road to Defiance 26 Scarlet Gorge The Defiants need help in Scarlet Gorge, northeast of Sentry Station. Report to Sumia Rend at Sunrest Bridge, then to Rickard Destrum in Old Mule Run. Nothing would please me more than to have you stick around here, but I've received word you're needed in Scarlet Gorge. Travel northeast to the road leading to Scarlet Gorge. Check in with Sumia Rend and Rickard Destrum to find out what's happening. I'm glad you made it, [%NAME]. Things are starting to heat up around here, and we could use a [%class] of your expertise. Greetings, Defiant. Please make sure Sumia Rend is accounted for before reporting back to me. Speak with Rickard Destrum in Old Mule Run.   Lay Down and Stay Down 49 Stillmoor Adrina Nikolin wants to you to practice vampire-slaying by using the Justice of Mathos on defeated Spawns of Thalos in Caer Thalos. I think you're ready for a more challenging target, [%NAME]. This wooden stake is known as the Justice of Mathos and it's designed to pierce the heart of a vampire. Be warned, you'll need to defeat them in combat before they'll lie still long enough for you to use it. You have proven your abilities once again, [%NAME]. Perhaps you do have what it takes to join our order. Have no fear, [%Name]. Those Spawns of Thalos will fall before you. Return to Adrina Nikolin in Thalin Tor True Adrina Nikolin Adrina Nikolin Never 3036 4860 Use Item Guardian
Yeti Vengeance 40 Iron Pine Peak Nina Velins would like you to kill the Snowblind Yetis in Cloudbourne Tarn, then speak with Darin Bevelis at the camp in Cloudbourne Tarn. I'm sorry, [%NAME], but revenge is all I can think of lately! I know it sounds foolish, but Snowblind Yetis are responsible for the death of one of my Breakers. I can't rest until something is done! If I'm ever going to fill these orders and get my men off this ice, those savages must be fought back from our sites! Thank you, [%NAME]. The yeti blood that stains Cloudbourne Tarn will remind those beasts we are not easy prey. Allow me some peace while you sort this task out. Once it is done, I will be able to think again clearly. Speak with Darin Bevelis at the camp in Cloudbourne Tarn. True Nina Velins Darin Bevelis Never 2100 4050 Kill
Running Red 29 Scarlet Gorge Olaf Sternbrew has asked you to kill Defiant players in Scarlet Gorge (level 25 and above). Damn those Defiants! As long as they control the Scarwood Lift, they'll be able to move their sourcestone in and out of Scarlet Gorge with impunity. I think it's time we showed them there are no free rides, don't you? Those Defiants didn't deserve to call Telara their home. Let that message be rememebred by those who survived. We've got to put the fear of the Vigil into those Defiants, [%NAME]. The sourcestone in Scarlet Gorge is too valuable to let it fall into their hands. Return to Olaf Sternbrew at Ironroot Draw True Olaf Sternbrew Olaf Sternbrew Daily 1188 3060 Kill Guardian
Death's Embrace 40 Moonshade Highlands Destroy Abyssal Focusers in Hammerknell Fortress after killing the Wavelashers and Torrents operating the devices. Afterward, destroy Brenin's Prototype and confront Tidelord Brenin. It all makes sense now. The shattered vessels, the runebinding rituals, the Abyssal's pursuit of death magic - Tidelord Brenin is creating runebound machines to breach Hammerknell! Quartermaster Balint forged the hammers you took from the Grey Gardens into a Runeguard Hammer. Use it to destroy the machines, then confront the Tidelord. What?! Tidelord Brenin had control of Gorvaht? It is astounding that Brenin mastered death to the point where he could compel a demon as powerful as Gorvaht. You are a true hero for destroying that beast. Gorvaht had plagued us for a century. But what concerns me is this new creature, Estrode. She possessed Tidelord Brenin and ran off toward Stonekey Court? Destroy Tidelord Brenin's machines and confront him in Hammerknell Fortress. Return to Captain Haghen at Reclaimer's Hold True Captain Haghen Captain Haghen Never 2100 4050
Quarrying the Quarry 26 Stonefield Use Eldritch Charges on Spawns of Centius in The Last Valley. Kill the Spawns of Centius while the charge is active and they will shatter into Magmite Shards that you can gather. I can help you gather what you need to create the Titanbane. See these Eldritch Charges? Place one of them on a Spawn of Centius before he is destroyed and it will shatter him into pieces. Then all you need do is pick up the Magmite Shards. You've gathered the Magmite Shards, I see. The magic in those are key to creating the Titanbane. It's the only hope you have of defeating Centius. The Magmite Shards are imbued with the planar magic of Centius. You'll need it to create the Titanbane. Bring the Magmite Shards to Mina Shezad at Sentry Station True Mina Shezad Mina Shezad Never 983 2790 Collect
Bound in Blood 3 Terminus Collect Essences of the Bahmi from the Corrupted Defiant Devices in The Sinkhole and then return to Rahn Chuluun. The sefir tattoos on our skin remind us of our connection to our ancestors, and the great power that fighting beside them bestows to us. The Endless Court magic has bound our ancestors to the battlefield. You need to release them, and gather their strength to aid you in the fight that is coming against Regulos. I am glad they are released, and I am even gladder we have their strength on our side. You should craft a sefir to mark this day. You need to release our ancestors and gather Essences of the Bahmi. Return to Rahn Chuluun in Lastlight True Rahn Chuluun Rahn Chuluun Never 41 720 Collect Defiant
Ritual Firebrands 50 Shimmersand Collect Ritual Firebrands from any Firesand Wanton cultists in The Dragon's Tail, the Flamespawn Crater, or the Firesand Desert to the west of Wyrmbane Spire. The methods of the Wanton cult are some of the most archaic I have witnessed. They seem to prefer crude implements and tools to the more technological means of the Storm Legion or the Abyssal cult. I wish to study these implements. Thank you, [%NAME]. This is just what I was looking for. The Ritual Firebrands will be in the possession of the Wanton cultists in the areas west of here. Bring the Ritual Firebrands to Farrah Husin at Wyrmbane Spire True Farrah Husin Farrah Husin Always 3150 4950
WANTED: Eric the Mace 40 Droughtlands Eric the Mace is an escaped Flatyard prisoner living at the border between Droughtlands and Shimmersand. Track him down and kill him. Escaped prisoner Eric the Mace is seeking refuge on the border between Droughtlands and Shimmersand. Authorities advise caution. The bounty will be awarded upon his death or recapture - preferably death. Nice work taking down Eric the Mace, [%Name]. Too bad you didn't get his weapon - I'm sure the Flatyards guards would have liked it as a trophy. Well, feel free to choose one of these trophies as your reward. Eric the Mace was last seen hiding out on the border of Droughtlands and Shimmersand. Kill him and the reward will be yours. Speak to Helena Brass in Lantern Hook True   Helena Brass Never 2800 5400 Kill
A Superior Tool 20 Sanctum You should talk to Walt Makee in Sanctum about this unsual pickaxe head you've found. Taking a moment to wipe the sweat off your brow, you suddenly notice something glinting on the ground. Picking it up, you find it is an old, discarded pick head. Turning it over in your hands, you notice that despite a few chinks and dents, the pick retains a working point, and the surface of the metal, while lightly worn, has suffered little damage from the elements. Perhaps you should show this to someone with more experience in the ways of mining than you. I'm sorry, I don't repair tools, but you can talk to... Oh, you found this? I knew the design looked rather outdated. Good workmanship, though, and fine steel to have withstood toil and weather like it has. That's one of the great things about steel, it withstands shock and holds an edge better than iron, by a long shot.   Take the Discarded Pickaxe Head to Walt Makee in Sanctum. False   Walt Makee Never 420 1500 Deliver
Stabilize the Veil 1 Guild Quest Head to the rifts that have opened and secure the area by killing anything that come through. These data logs indicate a series of rifts have appeared. It's only a matter of time before an army of planar invaders set foot on Telara. Gather your guild members as I need you to head out with them and go on the offensive against this incursion. I've double checked these reports twice just to be sure, but it looks like the threat from the rifts is over for now. Thank you. I haven't gotten the new data yet, but I can tell you haven't finished sealing the rifts by just looking at your face. Return to Hylio Borros in Meridian False   Hylio Borros Weekly 12 540       3
Shipment Triangulation 41 Iron Pine Peak Rahn Chuluun has asked you to follow the red glyphs on the ground to find the Icewatch Weaponry. Once you have retrieved it, return the Icewatch Weaponry to Weapon Master Farin I believe we have a way of finding the lost Icewatch Weaponry. By detecting the elemental water essence imbued into the metal, this device is capable of tracking the weaponry and will provide you a path of red glyphs to its location. Use it well and be sure the Icewatch knows it was through the power of the Defiant that this was accomplished. You found the weapons? Amazing! This Locator Device would prove invaluable should we experience such a theft again. I must speak with my superiors about acquiring one. I can't believe our shipment was intercepted. Such a thing has never happened on my watch! Bring the Icewatch Weaponry to Weapon Master Farin at The Chancel of Labors True Rahn Chuluun Weapon Master Farin Never 2196 4140 Collect Defiant
Of A Mind to Agree 45 Stillmoor Havrica Ko in Phoenix Rise wants you to capture a Mathosian Man-at-Arms in Belmont. I've acquired a device that I hope we can put to immediate use, [%Name]. It can loosen the perceptions of threat and compel a man to do things he otherwise wouldn't. The Mathosian Men-at-Arms are mortal, and we must exploit every advantage we can. The Mathosian Men-at-Arms were once a proud and stalwart group. There was a time when feeble magics like this would have failed against their oath to the kingdom. Serving the damned, however, has no doubt weakened their resolve. Bring me one of those Mathosian Men-at-Arms, and we will make him talk. Return to Havrica Ko in Phoenix Rise True Havrica Ko Havrica Ko Never 2599 4500 Use Item Defiant
The Cry that Wakes the Sleepers 48 Iron Pine Peak Lord-Protector Nerval wants you to speak with Luminary Yentia in The Chancel of Labors. The Icewatch has lost its way, becoming too focused on our forges and our books. We patrol and preach the wisdom of our beloved Thedeor. Noble things, but we have grown complacent, forgetting our purpose - to keep the dragon Crucia imprisoned beneath the frozen lake. We must rededicate ourselves to this sacred duty. Speak with Luminary Yentia about refocusing the Icewatch. We are the shield that guards the realm of men. We cannot allow ourselves to fail. May the blessings of Thedeor be yours, [%SIR_MADAM] [%NAME]. As the spiritual leader of our beloved Chancel, I rarely become involved in the affairs of our many visitors, but I am not unaware of the boons you have done us, and I thank you. Lord-Protector Nerval is wise. We have lost our way, every one of us and some more than others. For all that you have done on our behalf, I am most grateful to be reminded of who we are and why we are here. Our order is honored to count you as an ally.   Speak with Luminary Yentia in The Chancel of Labors True Lord-Protector Nerval Luminary Yentia Never 1170 1590 Talk
An Unhealthy Fetish 34 Scarwood Reach Travel to Shatterbone Hold and collect Death Fetishes from the Shatterbone cultists. Shatterbone Hold is on the other side of the rightmost rope bridge just northwest from Camp Cestus. I have heard that many of the cultists are wearing odd pendants. If my suspicions are correct, and I hope they aren't, then these cultists are a much greater threat than we realize. I must study these tokens more closely. It is as I feared. These Death Fetishes are marks of favor similar to those awarded in old Mathosia. The cultists are drawing direct support from a ranking member of the Mathosian royal court. Doctor Visek may even be a lich-born servant of Regulos himself! Do you have the trinkets from the cultists yet? I simply must know who it is we are really fighting! Bring the Death Fetishes to Fadei Bogatyr at Camp Cestus True Fadei Bogatyr Fadei Bogatyr Never 1571 3510 Collect Guardian
Three Springs Blessing 36 Moonshade Highlands Talvar Methyn wants you to bless Three Springs and its people against the coming darkness by praying at the Western and Eastern Idols in Three Springs. Ascended, something is not right with this town. I can no longer ignore the recent disappearances of our citizens, nor the evil noises heard from the north at night. I do not beg the gods lightly, [%class], but will you pray for the Vigil to bless Three Springs? I heard cheering as the Vigil graced Three Springs with their blessing. The gods are clearly with us! Are you prepared to restore the honor of the dwarves and eradicate the blight plaguing this land? It's been awhile since we sought the help of the Vigil, but perhaps it's time. Return to Talvar Methyn in Three Springs True Talvar Methyn Talvar Methyn Never 696 1230
Burn the Offerings 38 Moonshade Highlands Brother Damon has sent you to destroy Faering Cages in the Faering Woods, south of Stonemason's Watch. I have never seen fae creatures so heavily influenced by death, [%NAME]. These twisted fiends keep their prisoners held fast in living cages whilst they dance about them, weaving their strange magic. Their hapless captives are too far gone now to be saved. Only death can free them now. Burning the living sacrifices was a terrible deed, but it was necessary. We have thwarted the most recent rituals of the fae, but there is no time to rest yet. We still have much more to do before we are through with the highlands. The Faering Cages must be burned before the rituals can be completed. Return to Brother Damon in Stonemason's Watch True Brother Damon Brother Damon Never 1916 3870
Tainted Earth 49 Shimmersand Destroy the three large Ritual Pyres on the upper tier of Sunblind Ascent, and kill the Imperfect Earth Elementals created in the blast. The Ritual Pyres located around the lower tier of Sunblind Ascent are nothing compared to what I have seen being at the pinnacle. Those are not sacrificial fires like the ones you dealt with before. They can only be for one thing: a summoning ritual. Those earth elementals were meant to become soldiers. The Golden Maw are preparing for war, and not just against the Khaliti. They must be summoning something strong to need such a powerful flame. Return to Ragheb Fenuk at the Khaliti Refuge True Ragheb Fenuk Ragheb Fenuk Never 3036 4860
On the Move 36 Droughtlands Gladdox Fwyntindle in Lantern Plateau has asked you to track down Trevon Frendell, a treasure hunter last seen heading towards Trapper's Rest to the northwest. When kobolds steal treasure, they bury it. Me and my buddy Trevon tracked down one of those dogfaces and got his treasure map, but we were separated. I don't dare enter kobold country again, but I'd be grateful if you found Trevon, considering he's got the map... I shoulda known Gladdox would never leave me to my fate, not while I'm holding on to this treasure map. The bad news is the dogfaces know I got it and they've been chasing me for days. I think I hear them coming for me! Be careful of the dogfaces - they're everywhere. Find Trevon Frendell in Trapper's Rest True Gladdox Fwyntindle Trevon Frendell Never 1160 2460 Talk
