While I fully believe in a good offense, we must be able to defend the sites within the Codex long enough to conduct a proper study. It doesn't do any good for us to take the Codex just to lose it again a few moments later. I want for you to focus on keeping the Guardians from gaining control of any of our holdings.

Lay claim to one of the bases controlled by the Guardians within the Codex.
It is not enough to just defend our own holdings. We should take the fight right to the meddlesome Guardians and make them less powerful by wresting control of their bases right out of their fingers. Then, the mysteries of the Codex will be ours for the perusing.
I hear the Guardians fell to pieces once you had taken their base, wonderful! I am certain we retrieved good data this time.
