cannot download rift says failed to download remote manifest how to fix?

i can't downlaod rift its giving me error 1006 fail to download remote manifest what can i do to fix it please

Turn off your anti virus and see if it works. RIFT hates anti virus.

for the manifest error go to your rift directy where the patches are and make a new file named manifest.txt
