How long is the story mode in Mortal Kombat 2011?

Approximately how long does it take to beat the new story mode in MK 2011?

As in all fighting games, it depends on how good you are at pummeling your opponents.

If you're bad at this sort of game, it may even take you a lifetime.

Fighting games are strictly skill dependent unlike FPS or RPG where the plot is driven by a story.

Mortal Kombat (9) has a very fleshed out story mode. It's actually quite lengthy, even if you're adept at fighting games. It's supposed to contain somewhere around 2-3hrs of cutscenes and contains 16 chapters. Each chapter contains 5 or 6 fights.

All in all, this is definitely going to be the lengthiest story mode you'll find on a fighter to date.

Those lucky enough to have purchased the game early claim it can take upwards of 8hrs to fully complete.

How awesome is that?

their are 16 chapters with 4 fights in each chapters but  if your really good it should be about 3 or 4 hours atleastYES
