Unfortunately the launch titles are pretty lacking since Nintendo didn't launch with their flagship titles like Kid Icarus or Zelda. Luckily the software that comes with the 3DS is pretty interesting in its own right.

Super Street Fighter IV and Pilotwings Resort are arguably the best launch titles.

Most people will say Street Fighter or Pilotwings.  Theres also Nintendogs and Cats for the kiddies and girlfriend or wife.

Definately try to invest in a copy of OOT 3DS. It's deft worth it even if you didn't play the first one.
