For movies and streaming Netflix, PS3 is better (it's one of the best Blu-ray players on the market). But for gaming, I prefer Xbox 360. There are few PS3 only games that are worth playing, and Xbox Live works much better than the PlayStation Network. The Xbox 360 Achievement System is also better. There are many more reasons for 360 over PS3 in gaming, but for the sake of brevity, I'll stop there.
