Dragon Age 3 hasn't been official announced yet. However, considering the gap between Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 being released, I'd say teh absolute soonest it could possibly be released is late 2012 / early 2013.

Currently, Bioware is busy with Mass Effect 3, so I'd bank on 2013 sometime.

DA is supposed to be a trilogy.

So it will come out just not so soon after DA2 was released.

There was about 2 years between Dragon Age One and Two release so probably be sometime in 2013 before the next one is released. Although they could release additional content for Dragon Age 2 prior to that.

Latest release Dragon Age 2 March 2011

Dragon Age wasnt meant for simply a trilogy but moreso a franchise with many sequels and spinoffs ala Assassin's Creed. So after Mass Effect 3 is done, Bioware will surely move on to Dragon Age 3

The second one was JUST released. You'd be lucky if it came out in 2012.

A long time, BioWare is still working hard on Mass Effect 3, and afterwards possibly new IPs or a new Neverwinter Nights. I'm gonna take a guess work that there will be between 2012-2014. But expect DLCs/expansions first before another new one.

No release date mentioned, in fact the game isn't even announced yet.

If it's in the pipeline, they will probobly take their time with it, as the fan backlash for releasing what people essentially thought was Dragon Effect 2 and not an actual sequel was pretty heavy.
