what is a good way to get money in terraria in the beggining

If you donw mind being bored a little, find the closest desert to you and dig up as much sand as possable, make  glass, then bottles, sell it then repeat. Makes good money but its kinda boring. Other than that, explore caves, and kill things.

Here's what i do: make a small pool of lava in the corruption and dig under it, then block my self in. the eater of worlds will come to me and hit the lava and die, dropping coins that if you are one block under the lava you can pick up. to increase effectiveness, frame skip. (how to frame skip: turn the "frame skipping" option in the options panel off, the minimise the game and it will run super fast if your computer is good. make sure that you are prepared for goblin invasions because they can happen often when you frame skip.) or just look up frame skipping in terraria up on youtube. :D hope this helps!
