Dragon age 2 I forgot to import game can I still do it

I'm in the second act of dragon age ii and I realized I forgot to import my dragon age origins game can I still do it or is it too late?

It's too late to import it now. You'll have to wait until you decide to start a new play through.

It only adds very small bits of dialogue so don't worry about it too much.
