How do you break the mini telerporter in half life 2?

Put any object on each side of the teleporter, then press the button.

Put big things in the left side of the teleporter (the open one), like a box or a computer screen. The more stuff you put, the better chances to break it. Then press the button to teleport the things into the right side (the "caged" one). Since the stuff is to big to fit inside, it'll break it.

I always did it the hard way by trying to stick something so large into one side of the teleporter, that when it came out the otherside it wouldn't fit and blow up.
