Gearbox Software has announced the release date for the Mac version of Borderlands 2. This version is expected to be released on Novermber, 20, 2012. 

The game, which has been widely successful and received overall positive reviews, has been out for PC and consoles since September 18, 2012, and many fans have called for a Mac release.

Borderlands 2 was developed for the Mac by Aspyr Media, which prides itself on bringing the best in gaming to the Mac audience, according to Ted Staloch, Vice President of Aspyr Media.

The Mac version will also feature Steam Play, and Mac players will be able to play with their friends on PC in Multiplayer Co-Op, except in some cases where PC updates render both versions out of sync for a short while. Aspyr Media will be in charge of minimizing downtimes between the Mac and PC Version updates, though while the Mac version is catching up, Mac users can still play with other Mac users

While pricing details have not yet been released, it is expected to be priced at the same price tag as the PC counterpart, $59.99
