Zenimax Online Studios and Bethesda released a new documentary-style video talking about the upcoming MMO, "The Elder Scrolls Online"
According to Matt Firor, Game Director, this game seeks to bring together two crowds of gamers: the Elder Scrolls Crowd who are fans of the successful RPGs in the series, and MMO crowds, those who play World of Warcraft and other massively multiplayer online games.
Paul Sage, Creative Director, tells a bit about the background story for the game. It is set to be 1,000 years before Skyrim.
Jared Carr, the Art Director, tells us that we can explore ALL of Tamriel in this game, go back to places we've seen before as well as discover new locations that you've never been to.
Nick Konkle, Lead Gameplay Designer, surveys the Combat System in the game, and mentions that there will be tons of customization options in the game.
The game will feature a technology called "Mega Server", meaning that rather than being physcially separated from other players by "Servers", the game will be smart enough to create a single-server experience where you will be able to play with your friends and guildmates whenever you want.
The Elder Scrolls Online is an upcoming Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game set to be released sometimes in 2013. It is being developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and will be published by Bethesda Softworks. Stay tuned to GameShampoo for more news and updates related to the game.
