How To Get Infinite Golden Keys In Borderlands 2
- 9-20-2012
- Categorized in: Strategy Guides
If you bought Borderlands 2 on the PC, you can get infinite Golden Keys by doing some simple file editing. Note that Gearbox hasn't made any official comment on this exploit one way or the other just yet, and so the potential ramifications of subverting their Shift program and pumping out keys for yourself are yet unknown. In other words, do this at your own risk because you might just end up banned for it in the long haul. But if not... well, that's a whole lot of Golden Keys.
To perform this exploit, simply head to the WillowDLC.ini file and change the number after NumKeys to 255. This will give you 255 Golden Keys to work with instead of just one. After you have used all of your keys, you can head back into the file and do it all over again. In this way, you can essentially have an infinite number of golden keys. You can find the ini file at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\DLC\POPremierClub\Lic.
Did not work for me
FAKE
You can't edit the file, it is protected and no one has access to it, only the game itself can chane the file. Any mediocre modder knows you can't change gdi files.
Move it to the desktop, fucktard.
It's not fake, it certainly does work ... or it did - I'm pretty sure this got patched. That being said, it Definitely 100% works on a Cr@cked version of the game that doesn't have any updates, I can attest to that.
Yes, yes you can. try making a copy of the file in case you screw up. Then drag the .ini file out of the folder onto your desktop. right click, edit. Change it from 1 to whatever.then save and drag it back in. you need to have a local admin account obviously but you can do this hack as long as it isn't in the actual folder in my experience.
isnt a fake u just need to save somewhere else and drag it to the folder and tada its work :P
This was fixed less than a week after the game came out, you also had to preorder it to have access to the file.
Just because you are a moron and can't figure out had to edit a file doesn't mean that everyone is that fucking stupid.
Yes, this does work with version 1.0.0.
It does not appear to work with later versions.
its work fine you don,t update borderlands then doesn,t work it
