Win Our Swag From The San Diego Comic Con!

Developers and publishers just love to give out swag at big conventions. By the time Comic Con came to a close, we had more of the stuff than we knew what to do with. It was around that time that we decided, like the famously generous Robin Hood, to give our goods to the less fortunate, to those who couldn't be at Comic Con to get all of the glorious swag for themselves. To this end, we'll be giving away:

  • One Halo: The Thursday War protional poster
  • One Tomb Raide promotional poster
  • One Fortnite t-shirt, size medium
  • One The Lord of The Rings: Guardians of Middle Earth t-shirt, size small
  • One Halo 4 UNSC patch
  • One Halo 4 camoflauge tote bag

Simply leave a comment below answering the following question:

Who is your favorite comic book character, and why?

We'll stop accepting submissions at midnight Pacific time on Saturday, July 28th. Winners will be contacted the following Sunday, July 29th.

Favorite comic book character would have to be Spider-Man, just because i grew up watching the 90's cartoon and playing the games

My favorite comic book character is Rick Grimes, from The Walking Dead. It's incredible interesting to see such an honorable, righteous person slowly be broken down into an animalistic man-beast who's just trying to survive.

My favorite comic book character is Spider-Man because in a way I can relate to him (as being bullied), but I also like to draw and spiders are interesting (except the poisonous ones). ^_^

Mine would have to be the Joker. He is one of, if not, the greatest foes Batman faces. Also, he proves why you shouldn't always trust a man with a smile.

Deadpool. I find his comics entertaining and funny. One of the few I don't get tired of.

SpiderMan because my very first video game was that one SpiderMan game for the N64 and I loved it.

The Punisher. His type of justice is most acceptable for the baddest motherf***er criminals.

Have you heard of Squirrel Girl?

Her ability to control squirrels is surprisingly powerful and has allowed her to defeat major supervillans/anti-heros including Doctor Doom Deadpool and Wolverine.

She's part of the Great Lake Avengers and is currently baby sitting Nick Fury's children.

She has an interesting backstory and is one of the most powerful Marvel superheroes ever created.

My favorite character is Deadpool because he is always so funny, especially when he breaks the fourth wall. The fight scenes are always insane too! :D

My favorite comic book character is Ant-man (Eric O'Grady) because like me he is also a humonogous scumbag, making him all the more relatable

It would be the Joker. He impresses me with his ability to drive a industrialist, playboy, and a billionaire philanthropist wit arguably the best technology in crime fighting and comic book history, wild without any real type of supernatural powers. He gives a comedic evil twist to dark sinister clowns that I gladly enjoy reading in his comic books. The best part about him he never changes. He will always be the scary clown in the purple suit with the craziest plans to cause mayham and the best jokes to keep you smiling.

The Flash.  He was the first superhero I was introduced to as a kid and he was the one I grew up with.  Barry Allen was the true definition of what it meant to be a hero and though it took some time and plenty of hardships Wally became an equally great man.  I was happily entertained for over a decade.

...Plus, super speed is just awesome.

Iron Man/Tony Stark. His kick-ass suits look great and does practically anything. He's a friggin rich businessman, total womanizer, and brilliant inventor, but he got his ass kicked around, struggled with alcoholism and heart problems, and can be conceited. But he's still an individual with flaws, just like all of us. Just because he's a crimefighter with enhanced superpowers doesn't mean he has to behave/act ideally all the time.

I enjoy reading Deadpool comics, because there's a lot of humor in them, which isn't always present in other comics I read. Plus he's a pretty cool character too, so that definitely makes it easier to get into those comics.

Bigby Wolf from Fables... He is the ultimate character of redemption... First he is the Big Bad Wolf of all nursery stories and then becomes the ultimate hero within our Mundane world... He is bad ass. The End.

Lara Croft. I will probably never get to see an unexplored tomb, so she can do the work for me.

Mine would have to be Spider-Man, I got into comics with Ultimate Spider-Man #1 when it first came out and have read every issue since, Peter was a big inspiration for me as a teenager and the very last issue came out on the last day of my education which I thought was quite poignant.

My favorite comic book character is IronMan because is so powerfull

Ozymandias from Watchmen. He is the perfect example of how great intelligence can lead you to some ethically horrible decisions, and also how good intensions are so easily twisted. Of all he comic books I have read, his character is the most thought-provoking. And for a villain, he is still so easy to sympathize with.

Deadpool's irreverence for everything and yet he still has his "morals" makes him my favorite by far.

My favorite is Superman. Sure he's pretty much perfect, but that's only because he is the idealized version of ourselves. He's the person we should all strive to be. Because while we may never have his powers, we are all capable of living up to his ideals.

My favourite comic book character is the Hulk, firstly he looks awesome on/in comics due to the green colouring and secondly he's just simply a monster!

Obviously Goofy. My love for Goofy is primarily driven from the infamous game: Kingdom Hearts. The clumsy, dimwitted Goofy is one of the most well known and beloved Disney characters. Despite his intelligence, Goofy is brave, sweet, and caring and has a surprisingly accurate intuition. Goofy can usually be found adventuring with his best friends Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

My favourite comic character would probably be Death from the Sandman series. I just like the way she was created as a character and the fact that she is different from the usual representation of death that we see in movies or other comics. Also really excited for the new Sandman that is coming.

I'd have to say Invincible. The kid literally had to fight off his own father, which didn't work out so well. He is super strong, super fast, has a sense of humor and gets back up after taking a punch. He prefers talking to resolve a situation, but if that doesn't work, he WILL kick your ass. Plus, his buddy is a damn dinosaur. And he's banging a hot redhead. I wonder who would win in a fight, Superman or Invincible???
