Teaser Site Reveals Activision's Collaboration With Marvel Early?

One of the most anticipated panels at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con is undoubtedly the Marvel Games panel, at which a brand new collaboration between Marvel and Activision is to be announced. Many a fan, ourselves included, have been waiting with bated breath to find out what this new game will be. But if a newly-discovered teaser site is any indication, that wait has ended a little early.

Ladies and gentlement, we give you Hit Monkey.

Yes, that's right. Activision and Marvel's partnership looks like it will be based on the Hit Monkey comic series, a tale from 2010 that stars a murderous monkey who becomes a gun for hire. The teaser site pegs High Moon as the developer. If they sound familiar, it's probably because of their involvement in Activision's recent Transformers games, most notably the upcoming Fall of Cybertron.

Whether or not this is the announcement to be made at Marvel's Comic Con panel remains to be seen, but either way you can bet that we'll have more coverage of the game, along with plenty of others, next week when we crash the San Diego Comic Con.
