Star Fox Zero
This is a game that does offer something very new to the Star Fox Series. it expands on ideas that were lost to earlier iterations of the series. The WiiU allows you to play something very new and incredibly different from all other Star Fox games. All this will be delivered at 60 FPS on both the Game Pad and on screen.
New to the series is the Gyrowing. It comes with the direct-i. This remote control device is player controlled and lets you enter into new areas that you cannot reach with the Gryowing. Its own prespective is shown on the game pad.
Even the older vehicles have gotten revised and given numerous new abilities. An example was made with the Land Master Tank. It retains many of its old abilities, with its roll and hover.
However there are also changes to those. The Land Master can charge and lock onto 3 targets using missles with its charged attack. In addition to that, it can now fly! How long this can be used is unknown, but the vehicle itself will transform to take to the skies.
The Arwing also gains a new ability. It can be transformed into a Walker form. This gives a lot of new mobility options. There is much that this opens up with just some effort. These things are meant to offer more options and expand out the game play into new areas.
The game offers something more outrageous than before, in terms of situation. This game will be offering a lot of new game play. While, at its core, it is a single player game, the teams have been working on building a co-op experience as well. This would put one person in charge of the various Star Fox team vehicles while the other manages aiming and destroying enemies.
The big change is the usage of the Game Pad. As things happen in the cinematics in the game, the Game Pad will let you play through the cinematic and interact with it. This is something of a unique experience to the franchise.
