Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark Announced

Activision has announced a new game based on the lucrative Transformers property. This time, the game won't be strictly original (like High Moon Studios' Fall of Cybertron) but won't be entirely limited to following a film plot, either.
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be based both around Michael Bay's upcoming fourth flick, as well as on the ongoing cartoon. The original story of the game is said to merge both universes, connecting both of them as canon.
Aside from this basic synopsis, little is known about Rise of the Dark Spark. Activision hasn't specified a developer, so we don't know if High Moon, who had such success with their last two Transformers projects, will be returning to helm this one.
Either way, the game will be out later this year on a whole mess of platforms. PS4 and Xbox One players can look forward to a next-gen version, while others can play on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, or 3DS.
