GTA 5 Is "100 Hours Long"

Grand Theft Auto games have always been massive, but next week's GTA 5 might just take the cake in terms of sheer scale, scope and size. The game, according to Rockstar's own Dan Houser, will be "100 hours long." The subject came up during an interview with The Guardian in which a potential Grand Theft Auto movie or television show was discussed (hint - it's not too likely.) The full quote is below.

"It's much easier to imagine GTA as a TV series [than as a film], as the form is closer, but I still think we'd be losing too much to ever actually do it. We've got this big open-world experience that's 100 hours long, and that gives players control over what they do, what they see, and how they see it. A world where you can do everything from rob a bank to take a yoga lesson to watch TV, all in your own time."

It's true that GTA 5 may be the most jam-packed game in the series yet. Rockstar seems to have taken complaints that GTA IV contained much less content in terms of side activities than its predecessor, GTA: San Andreas. In the fifth numbered GTA, players can do all the aforementioned activies as well as go hunting, scuba diving, racing, and, of course, joyriding.

Stay tuned for more GTA 5 news, reviews and guides as the month wears on.
