At the Batman: Arkham Origins panel during this year's San Diego Comic Con, WB Games Montreal revealed a new villain for the game. 

Assassin Copperhead may be one of the more obscure villains from Batman's repretoire, but she'll be playing a big part in the game. Like The Joker in Arkham City, Copperhead will poison Batman in Origins, and it'll be a race against the clock to find the cure. 

Copperhead's coming-out party in Origins will spur on a greater presence for the character in DC's comics line, even leading to her becoming a major feature in the studio's mainstream comics. And frankly, it's about time this deadly gymnast and poisons expert got a little attention; her lithe form and acrobatic skill means that Copperhead can even out-sneak Batman in the shadows.

The studio released a brand-new, San Diego Comic Con-esclusive trailer to accompany the announcement of the new villain. You can check it all out below, and see the character's new design and acrobatic finesse in action against Batman during an intense interrogation. It's definitely worth seeing.
