Skyrim's Next DLC Leaked

We weren't sure if Bethesda would develop any additional content for Skyrim following Dawnguard. After all, the monumental effort that it took the developer to publish all three expansions on the PS3 seemed to have taken a toll on their credibility with the platform's owners, and in the usually rapid-fire world of DLC announcements, it had been an unusually long time since we had heard anything new regarding Skyrim. That changed last night when Steam leaked the next DLC onto their database.

Called 'Redguard,' the listing has since been pulled. We know very little about the expansion given that it has yet to be confirmed by Bethesda, but Steam's listing featured an image of a man wearing a red turban and shawl, and listed a release date of June 9, 2013.

This naturally raises a number of questions. First things first, if Redguard is scheduled to release via Steam on June 9, does that mean we'll be seeing the Xbox 360 version in late April or May? After all, Microsoft's box had timed exclusive access to the last three expansions. And then there's the matter of a Playstation 3 release. Is it too much to ask that Sony's console get a simultaneous release?

We'll have more on Redguard in the near future.
