Fireburst Trailer Crashes And Burns

Strategy First, Inc. and indiePub have released their arcade racing game Fireburst on Steam, and this launch trailer is here to announce it to the world. The trailer shows off the intense racing action of the game pretty well, with cars bursting into flame and exploding off of the track in all directions. It looks like splitscreen and online multiplayer modes will play a big role in Fireburst's appeal, with the trailer placing heavy emphasis on the different types of multiplayer action being available in the final game.

Fireburst comes complete with twelve single player maps and five multiplayer maps, supported by sixteen different vehicles. The different vehicles are broken up into buggies, muscle cars, 4x4s, and trucks, each of which will have its own playstyle. In addition to the basic racing, there will be power-ups allowing each of the different car types to lay down some destruction on the track. In this way, Fireburst almost resemble's Bizarre Creations' last game, Blur, in that it is a realistic looking arcade driving game chocked full of power-ups.

Check out the trailer below and, if it piques your interest, you can find the full game on Steam now. Through May 2nd, the game will retail for 20% off of its usual $9.99 price.
