Namco Bandai is in the process of hosting a Q&A session with Tales Studio's Producer, Hideo Baba. Baba has worked on Tales of games for a long time now, with such acclaimed titles as Symphonia, Vesperia, and the recent Graces all under his belt. As such, he is the perfect guy to field some questions about the series. This interesting look inside of the development culture at Tales Studio covers such topics as Baba's opinion on Western perception of anime and the games that are influenced by it, and the growing trend in Japan of developers aiming to please Western audiences instead of sticking to what they know and do so well.
You will also get a behind-the-scenes peek at Baba's office at Tales Studio, and along with it a bunch of the promotional goods that were designed to promote the release of Tales of Graces in Japan. It's a fascinating look at aspects of the game's development that would normally be kept behind closed doors, shown only to the publishers and press.
Check out the interview below for more interesting tidbits on the Tales of series and Baba's unique viewpoint on the industry.
