New SSX DLC Takes You To Mt. Eddie

All of the levels in EA's SSX reboot were based off of topographical data from real mountains. The designers took some creative liberties with them to ensure a smoother ride, sure, but most of the peaks were grounded in reality to at least a small extent. Judging from EA's new trailer for the game's first major DLC, titled Mt. Eddie, that whole "grounded in reality" thing won't be hindering your lust for big air and bigger tricks any longer. This new mountain will have giant faces carved into the sides of mountains, roller-coaster-like rails cutting through the air, and larger than life jumps culminating in huge fireworkds displays.
This is the kind of reality-defying super sports action that fans of past SSX games have come to know and love, and it's great to see EA returning to form with this new trailer. No word has been released yet on how much you can expect to be paying for Mt. Eddie, or whether or not the pack will include anything else other than the titular mountain and the new skin for Zoe (called Retro Zoe) shown off in the trailer. Still, it's pretty exciting stuff, and what SSX fans probably want. Check out the trailer below and stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.
