Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor Pre-Order Bonuses Announced
- 4-23-2012
- Categorized in: Video Game News
Capcom announced today that their mech game Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor will receive a gaggle of pre-order bonuses courtesy of a variety of retailers. The bonuses will come, as they often do, in the form of new skins for your characters. In this case, you will be able to outfit your Vertical Tanks, as the game calls them, in a variety of new camoflage paint jobs, all of which look totally incapable of actually camoflaging your mech on the gritty battlefield. What they lack in sublety, however, they make up for in functionality. Each of the new skins will confer a bonus to the player who wears them.
Pre-orders from Gamestop will net you the "Rock" and "Jaguar" skins, which will make your Vertical Tank more resilient to bullet damage and faster, respectively. Those who buy from internet mega-retailer Amazon will receive the "Savannah" and "Storm" skins, which will increase bullet velocity and shooting ragne, respectively. Finally, for those who purchase the game through Best Buy, the "Impact" and "Tiger" skins await. These skins will increase your turning speeds and increase your raw strength, respectively. The trailer for the Gamestop pre-order bonuses is embedded below.
Look for Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor this June.
