how do I cast magic spells? skyrim

ok maybe this is a newb question

but cannot figure out how to cast spells in Elder Scrolls skyrim?

go to your magic menu and assign spell to your left and right hand

think of your spells like weapons

you can also have a spell in one hand, and a weapon in the other

Access the magic menu and assign the spell to either hand. You can easily use both spells and weapons too. It does make the early game easier for magic users who are not rolling in Magicka.
