It takes some skill with Roguelike and Permadeath turned on. If you play without those, then the game can be easy.

In Roguelike, more monsters are generated even if you're just standing around. If you wait in a level too long (even on the first level), you'll soon have a crowd of monsters behind closed doors waiting for you.

The game is easier or tougher depending on the skill set you choose. Some skills require much more effort to keep alive. Other skill combinations make you nearly invincible!

If THIS happens to you then add a 3 layer dome around ur house with doors any block hight u can do it in any layer u want if u want! But when u build ur first house thats the first thing to do plzz respond if this helps!

You lack a background wall. background walls prevent monsters from spawning. To prevent monsters from spawning you must create a background wall.

If your are talking about the King Slime, you must be 1/3rd away from the respawn point of your world and must be on a patch of grass. The further you are the more of a chance the King Slime will appear. As of patch 1.0.5 there can no longer me multiple King Slimes spawning at one time.

1.0.6 is a huge update. Huge things require time. The developers are doing what they can to bring you a great update with all the things they are aiming to include in it. It's not very nice to be like "where the heck is it", because the devs are doing it to bring YOU the pleasure and excitement of a well-done game. They say it'll be out this weekend. You don't need hope, just patience.

Be thankful it varies on the area of the world you are in atm.

In england it costs £5 which is approximately $8

So don't complain about the price when its cheaper.

Also it was a 12 hour offer. They tend to do it so you buy the thing fast and if you are delayed they raise the price to make you buy it fast or they will raise it again.

if you are on a hardcore char then yes everything will be dropped but can be picked up again if you go back to that spot

on softcore only some of your coins will be dropped, i mysely usually put gold coins in a chest or piggybank once you have one

To get npc's to move in, your houses must have all of the following things:

A table

A chair

Atleast 1 light source

Proper backwall not made out of dirt

Proper walls with doors

Then an npc will move in after a few days and sometimes just straight away

this reates a loopback connection and tells programs to connect to a server running on the computer you are on.

simply this will connect terraria game client to a server on the ssame computer.

The boss fight is pretty easy for an end boss tbh. You have infinite ammo and a choice of the best guns in the game, choose the enforcer gun and just strafe around the area firing, then head to ammo, reload and repeat. Each NPC has their own requirements.

Merchant needs you to have collected 50 Silver Coins

Nurse needs you to have found a Crystal Heart

Demolitionist needs you to have found a Bomb or Dynamite

Arms Dealer needs you to have acquired a Musket (which is dropped from a Shadow Orb)

Dryad needs you to have killed a boss

Clothier needs you to have killed the Skeletron

Also, they all need their own house.

A proper house is:

At least 5 blocks high, 7 blocks wide building

No dirt

A backwall

A Table/Work Bench

A Chair

A light source

A door
