Ravaging Onslaught 35 Whitefall Steppes Confront the Guardians in Whitefall Steppes and overcome their forces five times. These Guardians are unrelenting! We need to keep the artifacts from Whitefall Steppes out of their hands, lest we all find our minds consumed with a false 'love' of the Vigil! I demand a relentless assault on their base. Go to Whitefall Steppes, Defiant, and dominate them. I think we may finally consider ourselves rid of the threat of the Guardians in Whitefall Steppes. Nicely done, Defiant. I would expect you to be out on the field fighting the Guardians for the artifacts at Whitefall Steppes, not here bothering me. Return to Koke Tegus in Catari Command Center True Eldhu Bangal Eldhu Bangal Never 2205 4800
Mistfall Monsters 37 Moonshade Highlands Orseti Fawkes wants you to kill the Abyssal Divers, Mistweavers, and Tideborn Wardens that have invaded Mistfall Cove, northeast of Three Springs. Mistfall Cove has been overrun, [%NAME], and it isn't pretty. I've seen large crabs in my day but those deep ones that the Abyssal keep as pets are something entirely different. Not to mention the cephalons with their tentacle legs. Someone should send them back to their maker. The Abyssal had taken the form of deep ones? That's a frightening thought. We had assumed that they were just dumb creatures all this time. Thank goodness they won't be able to attack us anymore, thanks to you. Mistfall Cove is just northeast of Three Springs. I wouldn't be surprised if the Abyssal were planning an attack. Return to Orseti Fawkes at Three Springs True Orseti Fawkes Orseti Fawkes Never 1826 3780
Infernal Devices 36 Moonshade Highlands Raish Komarr has asked you to collect Infernal Amplifiers that the satyrs at Blightweald have been using. Blightweald is located northeast of Timberveil. As if an impending undead onslaught weren't enough, it appears a force of satyrs have amassed in Blightweald. Interestingly, they've placed strange devices in their camps. They look like the old defense generators from Meridian. I'd like to get a closer look. These are very similar to the devices we used to use at Meridian, only they have been modified beyond their original design. They appear to be built to propagate death magic! Whoever created these is a formidable threat to Telara. Could Gorvaht be responsible for all this? Satyrs who use technomantic devices? This I have to see. Venture into Blightweald and steal their machines. Bring the Infernal Amplifiers to Raish Komarr in Timberveil True Raish Komarr Raish Komarr Never 1739 3690
The Soul of the Bladedancer 15 Sanctum Retrieve a planar shard from a rift and then tear open a hole to the Plane of Death and draw through the corrupted Estrael. Even though it has been more than a millenium since her death, the seas still carry the stories of Estrael and her band of buckaneers. She was a marvel of deadly motion, and her style of blade dancing has been passed throughout history. She now dances a macabre dance of torment for the lord of extinction. We need to free her, and enable her fight with us, not against us. With Estrael freed of Regulos's dark corruption, she can now fight with you, and you can fight with her deadly dance. You need to draw in the corrupted soul of Estrael and overcome the corruption of Regulos in her. Speak with Lymond in Sanctum True Lymond Lymond Never 158 600     Rogue
Make Him Sing 42 Iron Pine Peak Marshal Kain wants you to speak with Ekdim the Mad. You may need to force Ekdim the Mad to cooperate. You can find him in a cave at the back of Mage's Mark. The Remnants of Aedraxis are a potentially powerful force for evil, and the Redsnow Bandits were merely middlemen. They were paid by a mad hermit to do this, but this was no act of madness. There is a plan of pure malice here. Go and speak to this Ekdim the Mad. Use whatever force you need to, but make him tell you where he has sent my quarry! Stop hurting, Ekdim! Ekdim tells you anything!   Make Ekdim the Mad in Mage's Mark tell you where the Remnants of Aedraxis went True Marshal Kain Ekdim the Mad Never 2294 4230 Subdue
Fabricating Spirit Fabric 40 Sanctum Martin Nastrin wants you to bring him Bolts of Silk and Bolts of Composite Cloth. I've unraveled the mystery of the cloth you brought me, [%name]. By combining strands of witchweave with spellspun silk, it is possible to fashion a cloth that is superior to either. Unfortunately I ruined the swatch you brought me in the process, and I have yet to figure out the exact process and pattern of the weave. If I had some more bolts of spellspun silk and witchweave, I could finish my research – which I would of course share with you. Can you do that for me? I knew I could count on you, [%name]. Why don't you sit with me, and we can figure out the last few details together? As I always say, "There is no better way to learn than by doing it yourself". I'd use my own cloth, [%name], but I'm still waiting on my latest order. It should have been here days ago. Maybe those Wanton set fire to it, or the Aelfwar are using it right now to line their beds. Whatever the case, I'm counting on you. Return to Martin Nastrin in Sanctum. False Martin Nastrin Martin Nastrin Never 2100 4050 Collect
Charmer's Caldera 50 Charmer's Caldera Kill the demons and planetouched that guard over the Charmer's Caldera. With the fabled city of gold's discovery, the Storm Legion threatens to unleash a power not seen since the destruction of the Empire. The demons and cultists must be destroyed before the power within is reactivated. By thwarting the cultist's plans, you've prevented a second convocation from ripping Telara apart.     True     Always 5040 9900 Kill
Tears in the Ward 1 Guild Quest Hold the enemy at bay by sealing the rifts that are giving them access into Telara. The Vigil's sacred Ward is cracking further every day. This worries me as rifts are appearing, allowing villainous horses to slip through. I need the help of [%GUILD_NAME] to search and destroy these hordes and seal the rifts that are letting them in. Thanks to the efforts of [%GUILD_NAME], there are fewer rifts threatening Telara. Thank you.   Return to Cardinal Heartfellow in Sanctum False   Cardinal Heartfellow Weekly 12 540       2
Mischief Un-makers 13 Silverwood Search the forests of Silverwood for travelers who have been cruelly transformed into unusual critters by faeries, then use the Wand of Anti-Mischief on them to reverse the spell. This faerie met a well-deserved demise, but he left his mark on Silverwood while he lived. Inside his satchel is a list of all the people he polymorphed into squirrels and deer, as well as the wand he used. You should be able to use wand to cancel the spell. So all the unusual critters in Silverwood have been people all along? Just imagine the number of poor townsfolk who were lost to their friends and family for years. You've done the Vigil proud by reversing the spell, [%NAME]. Unusual critters? What? Speak to Maris Telluria at Sanctum Watch False   Maris Telluria Never 314 1620 Use Item
The Overwatch Beckons 18 Silverwood Thelliam Bedstraw wants you to deliver news of Twyl's gift to Brougan Grote in Argent Glade. The artifact you captured in the Palisade is engraved with the name of Kongeegon - a treant demon from the Plane of Life. Our oldest tomes name him as one of Greenscale's dreaded harbingers of the wild. By the Vigil, we must act quickly! Inform Brougan Grote. What's going on? Kongeegon, you say? I can hardly believe what you're telling me, yet I know it to be true. Prince Hylas must be mad to involve himself with such powerful planar magic, yet it would explain much of the Aelfwars' recent activity. Speak to Brougan Grote in Argent Glade. Waste not a minute! Speak with Brougan Grote in Argent Glade True Thelliam Bedstraw Brougan Grote Never 212 690 Talk
Clear Skies Ahead 48 Iron Pine Peak Defender Dulvain wants you to relay news of your victory to Theo Darson in The Chancel of Labors. My sworn brothers at the Chancel must hear word of our triumph here immediately. Tell them that the grace of Thedeor favored us, and we did not break! This is fantastic news! I shall spread the word at once! May Thedeor bless you always, [%NAME].   Speak with Theo Darson in The Chancel of Labors True Defender Dulvain Theo Darson Never 1170 1590 Breadcrumb
Master Distiller 50 Sanctum Renwhist Coverdale wants you to gather Tempestflower Stems and Twilight Bloom. Alright [%NAME] my best guess is that this is a hybrid of Tempestflower and Twilight Bloom. An odd pairing to be sure, but I have already noticed some very amazing properties. My stock is low but if you can get more, I can figure out the formula. Then you and I can write a new book about botany! We will be famous, sadly, there doesn't seem to be much gold to be had as a botanist. Excellent my friend! Give me a moment and I think I can tell you how to recreate this amazing sample.   Take the Tempestflower Stems and Twilight Bloom to Renwhist Coverdale in Sanctum. False Renwhist Coverdale Renwhist Coverdale Never 3150 4950 Collect
Sign of the Wyrm 40 Moonshade Highlands The Faceless Man wants you to use the Sigil of Akylios on Abyssal cultists to entice them to reveal their plan at Hammerknell, north of Reclaimer's Hold Let us lead the cultists to believe that in co-operating with the forces of death they have affronted their lord and will be punished if they don't renounce the alliance. Then we will learn who is pulling the strings of Akylios' cult, and hear of their plan. Hmm, so the Abyssal have been using dwarven runebinding as a means to tear down the walls of Hammerknell? It seems they've got the same sense of invention that we Defiant possess, but their ends are misguided. We cannot allow them to gain any knowledge that would help them free Akylios. The dragon cults are often made up of the weak and easily manipulated, those without strong will or direction, those that can be easily dominated. Return to the Faceless Man at Reclaimer's Hold True Faceless Man Faceless Man Never 2100 4050
The Soul of the Necromancer 15 Sanctum Retrieve a planar shard from a rift and then tear open a hole to the Plane of Death and draw through the corrupted Corthana. As Regulos's power spread through Telara the first time, Corthana found a way to keep our fallen heroes fighting. She found a way to manipulate undeath so that it was not something to fear, but something to control. Long after his untimely death, her beloved brother fought beside her and protected her. But death caught up to Corthana, and now Regulos has taken seize of her. You must release her, and then with her, you can gain a command over Regulos's domain. Corthana's power to command the dead is now yours to learn. Do not waste her gift, or ignore the potential her dark lessons. You need to draw in the corrupted soul of Corthana and overcome the corruption of Regulos in him. Speak with Master Anastasia in Quicksilver College True Master Anastasia Master Anastasia Never 158 600     Mage
Fine Fur 20 Sanctum You should talk to Martin Nastrin in Sanctum about this unsual hide you've found. Through meticulous sizing and measuring, and maybe a little luck, you manage to obtain a pelt that shows no damage on a cursory inspection. You could probably garner at least a few compliments to your skill if you showed this to an experienced butcher. Impressive, [%RACE], very impressive. From looking at you, I'd have never thought you'd be able to take a skin like this one, but here you are, and here it is. Tell you what, if you'll let me have it I'll teach you how to salvage, cut, cure and sew lesser hides into something almost as magnificent as this. How about it?   Take the Unblemished Pelt to Martin Nastrin in Sanctum. False   Martin Nastrin Never 420 1500 Deliver
Stone Cold Invaders 10 Iron Pine Peak The colossal Storm Gargoyle, Sither, is sending his invaders to assault the Iron Pine Peak! The colossal Storm Gargoyle, Sither, is sending his invaders to assault the Iron Pine Peak! Protect the Wardstones from the attack and smash the colossal Sither! The Ascended have won against the forces of the Storm!     False     Always
Doom Abides 39 Moonshade Highlands Lieutenant Fergon wants you to kill golems in the Grey Gardens and use the Demon Suppressor on the Voidspawn that erupt from each construct's husk. Though they were fools, the Hammerknell runebinders left behind technology we can use to expel the corruption. I need you to kill the golems in the Grey Gardens and use this Demon Suppressor to purge the Voidspawn that erupts from their scraps. It feels good to banish the darkness, does it not? Those golems are perfect examples of the hubris of the dwarven runebinders. They thought they could control the demons bound within their runecraft prisons, but they were terribly wrong. The fate that befell the fortress of Hammerknell is not something we can easily forget. Dwarves like me became obsessed with their own ingenuity and doomed Hammerknell to an eternity of demonic possession. We must begin the slow process of excising these demons. Return to Lieutenant Fergon at Reclaimer's Hold True Lieutenant Fergon Lieutenant Fergon Never 2007 3960
Threats of the Beyond 1 Guild Quest Stop the invading forces spilling from the rifts from taking over Telara by killing them and sealing the rifts. The seers around me have warned me that many more rifts will open and that that they'll bring in scores of invaders who want to take everything we hold dear. We can't let that happen and I'll need the help of your guild to end this threat to Telara. Thank you. You and the rest of the [%GUILD_NAME] did a wonderful job sealing the rifts from becoming a further threat to Telara. Why are you still here? There are still many rifts left open that need to be sealed. Return to Cardinal Heartfellow in Sanctum False   Cardinal Heartfellow Weekly 12 540       3
The Strength of the Fallen 37 Moonshade Highlands Collect Planesteel Mechanical Limbs from the ancient constructs on the hill in the Etched Plains, northwest of Timberveil. Awaken them with the Crystal Construct Device. At the height of their civilization, the Hammerknell dwarves built constructs to defend them against Regulos, but he turned their machines against them. We are wiser stewards of technology, however. I need you to collect parts from these constructs so that we can use them in our own defense. These Mechanical Limbs you brought back are the product of stranger magic than I thought, but I think I can make sense of them. There. The emotion chip was the problem. Now that I've removed it, I think we are ready to defend Timberveil. Go to the far northern edge of Etched Plains and use the Crystal Construct Device to revive the fallen constructs. When the magic field fades, destroy the machines and salvage some of their parts. Bring the Mechanical Limbs to Kaspar Massi at Timberveil True Kaspar Massi Kaspar Massi Never 1826 3780
Compromised Equipment 45 Shimmersand Sayid Ahzab has asked you to collect evidence from the Golem Control Units in Deadman Gorge as to what has caused the constructs to become hostile. Those constructs were once one of the crowning achievements of the Dragonslayer Covenant. Now they have become a danger to all the people of Shimmersand. The constructs are connected to Control Units located around the gorge. You should start by examining those. Well no wonder the constructs have gone berserk. The connectors have been completely switched around and reconfigured. Someone else has taken control of the machines, and we received nothing from our early warning systems. Something is very wrong, [%SUB_CLASS]. The Golem Control Units are attached to three large obelisks within Deadman Gorge. Bring the Damaged Units to Sayid Ahzab at Veiled Bastion True Sayid Ahzab Sayid Ahzab Never 2599 4500
