Play dead- To play dead, get knocked down. As you are down on the mat hold the control stick in any direction. This is a good way to trick an enemy into going off the ropes. Just before your opponent jumps, simply release the control stick to get up. Also try this trick when you are thrown out of the ring in lumberjack mode, it will keep you outside of the ring and safe. |

Corkscrew or Moonsault- When your opponent is outside the ring and you are standing on the apron, hold down + A and your wrestler will jump onto the middle rope and do a backflip onto the wrestler outside the ring! (aka SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT) If your opponent is inside the ring and you are on the apron, hold up a+ A and your wrestler will jump onto the top rope and either do a missile dropkick or a corkscrew onto the other wrestler!! |

Smash Opponent into Turnbuckle- When inside the ring, knock your opponent down as close to the top corner as possible. Now stand above him so your back is facing the top ropes (you have to be really close to the corner for this to work). Pick your opponent up, hold down the bottom C-button and push the D-Pad towards the corner you are in. Your wrestler will grab your opponent by the back of the head and shove his face into the turnbuckle! If you do this a few times in a row, your opponent will take a couple steps back, and you'll hear a noise like a knockout blow. |

Slide or Dive- When your opponent is outside the ring (and you are inside), back up past the writing on the mat, and run towards him. When you reach the end of the writing, hold A for a baseball slide or suicide dive. |

Running Flip- First throw your opponent into the ropes. When he bounces back, instead of pressing the B button, press A to flip him over or pick him up. |

Break out of pin or submission To easily break out of a pin or submission move, simply tap the controller stick (not the control pad) in any direction a few times. No matter who weak you are, it'll work every time. |

Use opponent's move- This code allows you to do your opponents move. When the spirit meter is flashing special do a strong grapple then press A and B at the same time. You'll do one of your opponents moves. This works from front or back. |

Prevent Rope Breaks- When you down an opponent near the ropes and you try to pin or submit him, a rope break is usually called. There is a way around that: Stand next to the downed wrestler, press the L button and you will start to drag him. Press the direction you want to drag him (away from the ropes) and perform your pin or submission hold. |

Masked Wrestlers Flip- If you play as one of the masked wrestlers (such as Rey Mysterio Jr. and Black Ninja), you can do a back flip onto your opponent by running towards the ropes, and hitting the A-Button when near them. |

Top Rope Tricks- To stay on the top rope for a period of time while waiting for the right time to jump off at your opponent, hold the A button. Start holding it when you are climbing the ropes. (This must be the first button you press after starting to climb. To jump off/climb down from the ropes, do the same as the above trick, only using the R button. |

Foreign Objects- Some wrestlers are more likely to get foreign objects (like bats or chairs) from the crowd. For example, if you play as Sting or Hulk Hogan, you almost always pull something out of the crowd. Simply walk up to the audience and press the C-Up button. Note that you can't bring foreign objects into the ring. |
