  SpaceWard Ho! PC It's Possible To Patch Joe Williams (creator) about patching: "We've tried to make it very hard to cheat in a multiplayer game of Ho!--without getting caught, that is. The computer will notify your opponents if you change any of your stats or such with MacsBug or ResEdit. But you can do those things against the computer without penalty".
  SpaceWard Ho! PC Meteor Attack 1. Launch a ship towards a planet that is at least 2 turns away. 2. Scrap that ship type after it has left, but before it reaches it's destination. 3. Now a meteor shower will be inflicted on the planet when the ship is supposed to arrive. You can destroyed entire enemy colonies in this manner.
  SpaceWard Ho! PC Easter Eggs A ship with weapons, shields, and range all at 10 looks like a shark. A ship with weapons, shields, and range all three up to 13 looks like a skeleton. Name a planet Hope or Ship, then abandon it; you get a cute message about "abandoning hope" or "abandoning ship". Play the game on December 25 (or set your system clock to it and play), and the game will have a Christmas theme. Use "Falkien" as your name and "Joshua" as your password, and you get a cute message about starting a Galaxial War. If you name a tanker "Valdez", you get this message: Oh no! The Valdez has sprung a leak! The ecology on is in shambles! The citizens are suing you for negligence for twice your net worth!. (You don't actually lose any money.) Try logging in with the creator's names.
