Without Using Up All Of Your Energy Hold down the option key while in the edit window. Select the raise/lower land tool. A control bar should appear to the left of the raise/lower land altitude icon. Wait, and you will seen icons above the control bar.

With the map window in front, type "RAND". It will randomise the landscape, i.e. replace each land square with one at a random altitude.
