To find reptile you must play in 1-player mode untill you
you reach the stage called "The pit". During this battle you must win
two perfect rounds(a "Double Flawless" victory) without ever using the
block button, and you must successfully perform your characters fatality
on your opponent. If you do all this you will be sent down to the pit to
fight Reptile. |

Freeze Trick For Anyone |
Start a one player match with any fighter (Cage or Liu Kang work the best). Repeatedly jump over the opponent and kick without hitting him. Keep this up until the computer blocks. Jump back over the computer opponent one more time without kicking. When you land, wait and do not hit any buttons. The opponent will remain frozen until you hit them. |

Disappearing Player Trick |
Start a two player, Tournament battle with any fighters, and fight until one of them is one throw away from defeat. Let the time run down until there is 1 second remaining. Finish off the fighter with a throw (standing next to the opponent and pressing B). In the next round, you can move both players off the edge of the screen. Do this as often as you like. |

Complete the game. Hold Up + Left + A + Select when the phrase "The End" appears after the credits. Continue to hold the buttons until the initials entry screen appears. Enter your initials and press A, the press Start at the high score screen. The message "Goro Lives" will confirm correct code entry. When fighting as Goro, hold A + B and press Down. Goro will disappear and the match timer will count down quicker. Additionally, your opponent will cycle through the same move and will not be able to hit you. |

One hit kills |

Note: This can only be done with a six button controller with an auto-fire feature. During Test Your Might, set the auto-fire to A and C. Press A + C as fast as possible and press Start to break the material.

Fight as Reptile |
To play as Reptile, you must fight against Reptile by setting "Flag 2" to "On" and first background to "The Pit". Fight Reptile the three times that you can fight him and do the fatality for each one. You will then see Reptile on the character selection screen after you complete the game.

Select any character except Sonya. Enable cheat mode and set "First background" to "The Pit", "Flag 1" to "On", and "Flag 2" to "On". After the match starts, do not block, win a double flawless victory, and perform the fatality. While fighting Reptile press Start on controller two to display a green Sub-Zero and Scorpion on the character selection screen. Another hidden character will appear if Reptile is defeated. Note: Use anybody except Scorpion or Lui Kang since your need to use block for their fatalities.

Activate the "Enable blood" code and set the first background as The Pit. Choose Liu Kang as your character and defeat your opponent in both rounds. Once the "Finish Him" message appears, use his Cartwheel Uppercut move (sweep D-Pad). The screen will turn dark, then your opponent will fly sky high and fall into the Pit's bottoms spikes, where you have to fight Reptile.

Glitch: Hybrid characters |
Play through the game until you get to the second endurance match. Win a double flawless victory and perform the fatality. Then, you will fight Reptile and a glitch version of him combined with one of the non-ninja characters. Note: You must be at the Pit in order to do this. Here are the things that must also be done in order to fight these strange hidden enemies.

While fighting Reptile, press Start on controller two. You will return to the selection screen as usual, but player two's characters will all be green. Note: This glitch goes away after both players have selected their characters and started a match.
