To unlock the hidden Hanafuda Card mini-game, beat Last Blade with any character without using any continues. You will find the Hanafuda option at the main menu screen.

Highlight Kaede on the character select screen and press: X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, Y, X, X, X. You should hear a voice, which means that if you then press A to select Kaede you fight as the original Kaede (from Last Blade 1)
