  Castlevania NES/SNES/N64 Hint: Passing The Bats On Level 6 To get past the bats, walk past the first two, freeze the third with the clock in the nearby candle, jump over the fourth, and run quickly past the last candle. Note: This only works if you do not stop to whip any candles other than the one with the clock in it. Simple run as fast as possible.
  Castlevania NES/SNES/N64 Hint: Location Of Money Bags Level 1 In the section with the water, break the far right block and kneel on the one below it. A money bag will appear. When you first enter the game, walk left until you reach the door. Normally the door pulls you in. If you jump the door a money bag will appear on the other side. Remember to jump over the door again. Level 2 On the first screen, climb the stairs, break the wall on the right, and enter the space that is created. A crown will appear. Level 2 (Second part, just after the Medusa heads disappear) Stand on the pair of blocks that are slightly above the rest for a few seconds without kneeling. A treasure chest will appear. Level 3 (First part). After climbing the stairs, go to the right edge of the lowest level of blocks and kneel. A money bag will appear. Level 3 (Second part) After climbing the stairs, kneel above the pair of blocks that are not reachable for a money bag.

  Castlevania NES/SNES/N64 Renon Ending Sequence Purchase more than $30,000 in items from Renon during the game. Then a battle with Renon will appear at the end of the game.
  Castlevania NES/SNES/N64 Extra Difficulty Level Beat the game with either character and wait until the credits end. Save the game, then restart to access the "Hard" difficulty setting. Note: The first green jewel for the Secret #1 entry on the item list must be collected. It can be found in the Silent Forest (level 1). Locate the platform that is floating next to a bridge. Jump to the platform and hit the torch to find the jewel.

  Castlevania NES/SNES/N64 Passing The Hedge Maze Look up and to the right at the entrance to the garden hedge maze to find a platform. Use the invisible ledge in front of the platform to reach it. When passing through the maze with Malus, turn left, open the unlocked door, then move left, right, right, left, left, left, right, right. Enter the gate and collect the items, then exit through the gate and run right, left, right, left, left, right. Move through the passage, collect the key, walk through the Villa, then re-enter the maze. Finally, run down the long passage towards the tower and enter the door to the right.
  Castlevania NES/SNES/N64 Infinite Money Defeat the bull in the Castle Center, then return to the white crystal save point. Locate and open the large crate to collect $2000. Then, save and load the game and open the crate again. Repeat this action to gain an unlimited amount of money.
  Castlevania NES/SNES/N64 Charlie Vincent Ending Sequence Use more than four cards during the game, or take an excessive amount of time to complete the game. Then a battle with Charlie Vincent will appear at the end of the game.

Climb the stairs, get to the top of the screen, and jump on the first moving platform. A blinking treasure will appear from the ground. Examine it closely, to see that it is a a Moai head (an Easter Island statue) from the Gradius series.
  Castlevania N64 Hidden Powerup before Dracula When you are climbing the stairs up towards Draculas lair, you pass through two towers before reaching the final tower. At the last tower, jump onto either of the two torches and shimmy around the ledge to the other side. There you will find a breakable torch with a Red Jewel and a floating platform. You can walk to the platform on thin air by walking straight toward it from the torch with the Red Jewel. Inside you will find a Healing Kit, helpful for the major battle(s) to come. submitted by Brett Rogstad
  Castlevania N64 Carrie's Second Costume At the very top of the Tower of Sorcery, just before the exit, look out and you will see a torch on a floating platform. Use holy water to see the invisible path that leads to the purple jewel in the torch which unlocks secret #2, Carrie's 2nd outfit, after you finish the game. submitted by Sutaz
  Castlevania N64 Easy Money In the Castle Center, in the room where you fight the Abomination, (The Really Big Bull) there is a crate in the left of where the big crystal is. Whack it three times, and 2000g will be yours. Now save and repeat. You will get a lot of G! submitted by Dan Sayles
  Castlevania N64 Finding Secrets If you press the ACTION button when in front of most statues you will recieve a roast chicken or a roast beef. Sometimes reading the clues on these staues will tell you of other hidden surprises. Also, ledges containing secrets can be accessed by just jumping straight up and pulling your character to the top. submitted by Richterfied
  Castlevania N64 Get Special2 Easy Most people get the Execution Key to get the Special2 in the Execution Tower, but if you find a Skull Cannon and the ledge behind it has an Iron Maiden, you can use the hidden ledges to pull yourself up there. You don't even need the key! submitted by Dan Sayles
  Castlevania N64 Hard Difficulty To obtain the hard difficulty setting you must get the first green jewel that releases secret #1 on the item list. It is located in the forest stage in a torch upon a floating platform. Once you've done that, finish the game with either character.
