I personally enjoyed the Seasons game, as well as the original A Link to the Past. The 3D Zelda games are great, but I really love the formula and gameplay the original top-down games held, and prefer to play those games instead. That said, I still love playing the new Zelda games, and thoroughly enjoyed each Zelda game released on the N64, GC, and Wii.

Has to be Ocarina of Time for me. It was an amazing entry to the series and defnitely an epic during its release for the N64. The 3D graphics for its time, the freedom and the flexible story really made the sum of its parts mix up quite well.

Link to the Past for me.

Although, I grew up with Link's Awakening in my Gameboy so it'll always hold a special place.

link's awakening will always be my favorite because it was my first introduction to zelda and got me obsessed. i spent hours on my gameboy playing, and the ones for n64 and so on are great, but none will ever be like that one

I've pretty much enjoyed them all, but Twilight Princess was problably my favorite. Everyone that I know who has played Ocarina of Time tells me I'm wrong through =\.

I've got to go old school and say number one. It was so ahead of its time and just awesome. I played the heck out of that game when I was young.

I'll have to say A Link to the Past. Besides being the first Zelda I played and the graphics and music being good, the game itself is great.

I think Ocarina of Time was the best. It was amazingly fun to play, with tons of things to do, and everything was just perfect about it. It was one of the games that got me into gaming.

I think Wind Waker was the best because it has big world to explore with a boat and the amazing graphics and puzzles in it.
