Anything, as long as it is tasty and has cheese. Cheese causes constipation, allowing you to game for longer times without pooing.

A solid diet of pizza and mountain dew should do fine. When necessary, supplement your meals with sugar, injected directly into the arm for optimum consumption. If you are feeling tired, you have not had enough sugar, and should take more doses of sugar until the drowsiness has dissappated.

The best things to eat as a hardcore gamer would be food that doesn't require you to wash your hands afterwards. It's a pain to eat something like chips when you can't touch the controller because your hands are all cheesy.

Even if you're a hardcore gamer I wouldn't compromise your diet - even professional gamers don't sit on their computer and eat high-fat high-sugar fast/instant foods all day. Eat good, healthy, well balanced meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Make sure you drink water. If you need to stretch out the time you spend awake (I wouldn't recommend doing so too often though), caffeine is a good way to stay alert (coffee, energy drinks) but of course drink these minimally.

This way you can minimise the time you spend eating, instead of eating snacks throughout the entire time. (if you're hardcore gaming, you don't have time to snack.) A good diet with staple protein, carbohydrate, + vitamins and minerals from veggies will do you good in the short and long run. You'll feel much better, you'll concentrate much better, but best of all,  you'll also live for much longer.

The only answer here is a mixture of raman, pizza, mountain dew, and cheetos. Anyone who gives a different answer has not lived the lifestyle.

Any thing spicy. You may ask, "Spicy?? Doesn't that make you sweat and therefore decrease your maximum controller dexterity and acuteness?" Hell naw! if you're a hardcore gamer, you're prepared for these things, because you've got headbands, armbands, wristbands, anklebands, butbands (buts get pretty sweaty on that lazy-e-boy), and so on. So get you're sweat on and eat some Thai food while you're gaming.
