What is the best RPG game for an iPhone?

It may be a few years old, but you should definitely check out a game called Zenonia on the iPhone or iPod Touch. It's a great RPG that has a lot of retro style put into it and can be really fun at times. There's also a sequel if you enjoy playing it.

I liked Solomon's Keep (an action RPG). It really depends on what kind of RPG you are looking for. Dragon Sword is a more traditional RPG, and then you have games like Dungeon Raid (puzzle game with RPG elements).

Outside of triple A titles like the ports of Final Fantasy 1,2, and 3, and Secret of Mana, the best one I've come across is Zenonia 2. I'm really digging Seed 2, though. There are lots of cool mechanics in both of these.

I think you should go with the Square Enix ports (FF1,2,3). Can't beat the classics :)

Since im a big Final Fantasy fan i'm gonna say Final Fantasy I and II, I've played both on the psp and iPhone!

The final fantasy ports are always good

Zenonia/Zenonia 2  is an RPG zelda style game, which is very fun

Square enix's Tacticle RPG - Song Summoner is also great
