Luffenting wine not brewing! - Royal Holiday

I'm having some problems with the sims medieval, on "royal holiday" how long does it take to brew luffenting wine? mine is either taking forever or just not working at all.. is it supposed to be instant? is it a bug?

same problem here. when i click on brewing the ale, it does not do anything. i have read the book and all the ingreients... any help??

never mind. i finally figured it out! you need to have the ingredients in your sims inventory. they must not be in the larder but in your actual "pockets". this is why it didnt work :) a bit stupid, as my larder is right next to my barrels and the queen could have just got the stuff out of it. but well, glad it is working now!
