It has been said on many forums that the length of the story mode on Mortal Kombat 2011 is around 5 to 6 hours.

The story is fairly lengthy, weighing in between 5-8hrs depending on player. It is the most fleshed out story mode in a fighting game I've ever seen.

The game took me 7.5 hours and I thought it was pretty long, with all the cutscenes ^^

Around 8 hours.

But as with all fighting games, the time you spend on it depends on how good you are with the game unlike  an FPS or RPG where the plot is advanced for you.

Around 5 hours which in all honesty is pretty lenghty for a fighting game
