ok can someone please explain to me difference between levels and test chambers in portal 2?

I hear some ppl talk about that theres "levels" and not "test chambers" in portal 2? whats the difference? when I see the sign that says 5/19 am I entering level 5 or test chamber 5?

Levels are called CHAMBERS in Portal 2.

The levels / stages in Portal 2 are refered to as Test Chambers in Portal / Portal 2.

test chambers and levels are the same thing, it's an interchangeable term.

Levels and test chambers are sort of the same, except that there are 19 test chambers and 3 levels.

I believe that occasionally you'll get test chambers that are grouped together on the 'select level' screen, this is generally because of anything gladoa does where you leave the test chamber and go exploring. Although generally the test chambers will conform to the level number, this isn't always the case.

there the same thing its just chambers sound more like your in a science lab i like to think of them of floors on the building there are a total of 19 floors in the building you are now on floor 5 trying to get to the elevator to floor 6

In portal 2, there are not so lot test chamber. There are chapters, and the half of the chapters has no test chamber. There are test chambers, but not all is it.
