There are probably more after the set 19 chambers. Much like Portal 1 where there were levels after the traditional 'chambers' i.e. when you escaped incineration

You are correct. There are 19 chambers. Where are you reading that it has 22 chambers?

Portal does have 19 official Aperture science laboratory PUZZLES, not chambers, really. the last 3 are just basically like the part in Portal 1, after you ran away.

22 here refers to the actual chamber that was designed as a test for you. The last 3 will most likely have you find an escape from Aperture Science Labatory with every tricks and mechanics you have learned along the way.

There are 19 test chambers, but the entire game si not spent inside of these chambers. Plus, the facility is busted, GLaDOS is probably skipping test chambers that are broken beyond repair.

Nineteen official chambers. After you get out you are about 40% through the game. There are other chamber along the way, I think you end up in a different set of chamber somewhere along the way. It will start from 1 at those again. But different chambers.
