portal 2 how do i press the red buttons?

I see some red switches in the room not sure how to activate them?

It depends. If it's a big round switch on the floor you have to find something to put on it., like a companion cube. Otherwise the default interact button is E, but it might be different depending on how you have your controls mapped.

Some of the buttons need cubes to activate them

you either stand on top of them or you drop a cube onto them. unless it's a small button, in which case the default interact button is 'e'.

you simply press E to interact with objects..E can also be used to pick objects up

the button switches press e (default) if its a big switch put a object on it like a aperture science weighted storage cube

Press E (or your default action button, look in your settings under "Keyboard") to pick up boxes, drop boxes, and finally PRESS RED BUTTONS!

Press E to "interact" with things. To activate large red buttons, you need to place cubes on them, just like in Portal 1.
