how do you browse a bookshelf for fountain reference in the sims medieval?

in the legendary fountain of legend quest how do I browse bookshelves for fountain reference?

In the palace, there's a bookshelf in the room to the left of the Throne Room. It's on the right hand wall all the way in the back, usually obscured by a pillar. Click on it and select "Browse".
