How do i get whitelisted on a minecraft server?

I didn't do anything and it says i am not whitelisted, so how do i get whitelisted to be allowed on

Basically the admins of the server can make it mandatory to be on a list they create in order to gain access.

Also try to speed up PC and internet connection. Before joining server try to use game optimization tool PCFresher.
