how to trasmute items into coins in dungeon siege 3?

It's in the item menu. Highlight an item and it will show you at the bottom of the screen which button to transmute stuff. As long as you sell each time you visit a store, you shouldn't have to do it to often, avoid it as much as possible :D

I'm 80% sure it was Y on the 360 :)
