Well yeah, that stuff may happen in rare cases... I've heard about a guy who had to move worlds two times in a row because of that. Happened on his first world, then he created a second one, it happened there as well, he created a third world and made an Ebonstone shield for his house. So, as you might have guessed, nothing can be done about that =]
If THIS happens to you then add a 3 layer dome around ur house with doors any block hight u can do it in any layer u want if u want! But when u build ur first house thats the first thing to do plzz respond if this helps!
