How do I beat the Butcher in Diablo?

I can't kill the Butcher. Too hard. Am playing as a sorcerer. Any tips?

basically just keep opening the door, attacking him, and running away

First of all I amazed that people are still playing this game and asking for advice.

You could either go other places level up and come back to kill him.  Or hit and run ^^

don't just go for it, take your time and wait for the opportune moments to 'unleash your fury' as it were. get back if you're getting pwned.

The only thing I can think of is to kite him. Basically, attack him with range attacks and then run away in order to avoid getting hit.

Tough fight, but hitting him and running out of range consecutively works - it takes a while, but it works
