why is gamestop not selling terraria

i went to gamestop today with 10 bucks wanting to buy terraria but they say they dont sell it?

They're selling it now.

The employee you spoke to might not have known that they could sell you a digital download and might have thought you meant the platform edition (which wasn't out until the last couple of years for XBOX and PS3)
