how do i use the motion sensor in call of duty black ops?

Just place the motion sensor (unlock first with cod points) down on the floor, then when an enemy is near the sensor's radius it'll show a red dot on your minimap. It's a good way to tactical camp around the area, but you should know people with Hacker on can see the motion sensor through walls.

imo this is not that great. Yeah You can camp freeley but it won't help You dodge grenades. It will not land You a kill and a clay might :)

well use it like any special weapon and just put it in the spot u want to watch and dont forget tif u look up or dont the camra will look that way

I'd say use it on levels that have enclosed areas. that way you'll know who's coming the back way while you're looking the front way. and keep it fairly hidden from you so that you can't get killed before you know there's motion or that the sensor is destroyed.

Place it down and stare at your radar for movement.

Equip it in the load out screen (after you buy it) and then simply choose it and drop it on the groupd (preferably somewhere not quite visible, but near an area you expect traffic).

It is not that useful, at times, but is required for certain unlocks of perk pros.
