The phase-blade is great for zombie slaying...
The sunfury is a great weapon for stronger enemys

While the Space gun is very effective when you have the Mana band and the Mana Armor to regenerate even faster

A good weapon for Terraria would be the Flamerang, as it does 32 damage and doesn't use any mana.

If you have tons of stars and want to get rid of them just make a starcannon it is the most powerful weapon in the game.

I tend to use Muramasa as its the fastest 'dps'.
